MAKURDI-Former Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to late Head of State, General Sanni Abacha, Chief David Attah, has decried the continued detention of the former Chief Security Officer, CSO, to his former boss, Major Hamza Al-Mustafa, stressing that it was unjustifiable.

Attah, who spoke to newsmen in Makurdi, maintained that the former CSO had suffered sufficiently and ought to be freed in the interest of justice, especially considering the number of years he has spent in detention.

He said, “Keeping Al- Mustafa in prison till now is not fair; the maxim which says that justice delayed is justice denied should be applicable in this instance.”
