The Police Service Commission in conjunction with the Nigeria Police has shifted the Cadet ASPs and Inspectors Zonal screening exercise which was initially scheduled for 19th -30th September, 2011.

It is now slated to hold from, 3rd – 14th October, 2011 in all Police Zonal Commands across the country.  According to separate statements from the Commission and Force headquarters’, “The change became necessary due to exigencies of duty of some officers of the Police Service Commission and the Police Force.”

Explaining that the zonal screening is for the sixty (60) candidates that were selected and endorsed by the Police Service Commission Supervisor and Commissioners of Police in the State Commands, the commission said, “the final screening of successful candidates from the Zonal Command would commence from the 17th – 21st October, 2011 at the Police Service Commission Headquarters in Abuja.

“By this notice, all applicants are hereby advised to contact their respective commands of origin for necessary information regarding the exercise.”

The Police Service Commission and the Police High Command regrets the inconveniencies this change of date may have caused all the prospective candidates.
