Wamco launches Peak Extra Fortified Plus

Leading manufacturer of dairy food products, FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, last week launched a new extant of its popular milk product – Peak Extra Fortified Plus  into the market.

The new brand is  enriched with 28 vitamins and minerals and endorsed by the Nutrition Society of Nigeria.

The company’s corporate Affairs Manager, Mrs. Ore Famurewa said  the new Peak brand  will enhance the state of mind of consumers because it contains important components such as Tyrosine, Iodine, Vitamin A Plus, Vitamin B12 that support memory function, mental alertness and clear, bright sight.

Famurewa pointed out that the introduction of the product was as a result of  consistent high quality, good marketing support and a good understanding of the market and consumers, and of course, an enviable consumer loyalty from generation to generation.

She revealed that Peak is taking leading initiatives in innovation and product upgrades with a good understanding of consumer needs in line with required dietary allowance of dairy nutrition.

“Peak is now ‘Extra Fortified Plus’ to provide even stronger bodies and sharper minds. The new premium pack design has also been modernized to focus more on primary brand elements such as the peak logo, Palm trees and mountain. Peak’s ambition is to continually sustain its quality image and be more accessible and affordable to the generality of Nigerian consumers,” she said.

To sustain its position in the market, he  the company also offers the fullest range of dairy products with several line extensions, adding that Peak Extra Fortified Plus is in line with the recommendation of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to reduce nutritional deficiencies in the diet of Nigerian families.
