YENAGOA-THE President of Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, IYC, Peter Igbifa, has commended Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for fulfilling his promise to donate vehicles to the IYC.

Igbifa, who describes Okowa as a man of his words, said commitment to promise made is by keeping them, expressed the delight that the vehicles will aid the foremeost youth organisation mobility in carrying out its activities.

The IYC president who stated this in a statement after taking possession of two buses donated to the IYC by Governor Okowa, also commended the Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri for role he played.

Igbifa said: “Following the meeting with the Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, he promised to provide vehicular support for the purpose of aiding movement in the council, today that promise has come to full manifestation. Commitment to promise made is by keeping them. We to also thanked the Miracle Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri for the role he played.”
