Bomb scare: Lagos beefs up security at state secretariat

The Lagos State Government, Thursday, beefed up security at the state Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, following a bomb scare. It also ordered the closure of the gate leading to the Deputy governor’s office.

Civil servants who were returning from the Eid-el-Fitri holiday and visitors driving into the secretariat through the Deputy Governor’s gate were diverted to the main-gate where their vehicles were subjected to security check.
