The latest entry into the mobile handset market from Nokia, X7 was last week unveiled in Lagos.

Targeted at consumers who use their mobile phone primarily for basic features like gaming and video, the Nokia X7 feature a number desirable features such as pre-installed games in addition to offering users the benefit of choosing from thousands of videos, games and other applications from leading global publishers available for download from the Ovi Store.

Besides, the phone has a massive 4-inch Amoled touch screen that captures high definition quality videos and allows Nokia X7 users to watch videos and the latest episodes of television programmes via WebTV or YouTube.

Unveiling the product, the Head of Marketing Nokia West Africa, Mr. Reuben Onwubiko said with the new Nokia X7 coming into the market, Nokia will offer users an unmatched experience in gaming, video and internet browsing. He added that the device will be available immediately to subscribers on the MTN, which will provide the application software for Nokia X7.

He said the Nokia X7 will redefine the face of gaming and video experience and at the same time, offer a powerful browsing experience to the user.

According to him, the introduction was in line with our innovative strategy to meet the respective needs of our teeming consumers the world over.

Its 8-mega pixel camera enables users to capture pictures and high definition quality videos.
