THERE was partial compliance to Tuesday’s sit- at- home in Anambra State as ordered by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to mark the appearance of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in court.

Kanu, who is facing treasonable felony, appeared at the Court of Appeal, Abuja in continuation of his trial.

Although inter city movement was virtually absent, there was vehicular movement within the cities. Some shops and filling stations also opened for business.

As usual, however, all government offices and banks were shut, while the popular Eke Awka market was open, although only few people patronized the traders.
