Former President of the Senate, Senator Adolphus Wabara, has encouraged children of the late former national chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Chief Edwin Ume-Ezeoke, to take solace in the accomplishments of their father as a democracy icon.
Wabara, in a message to the family yesterday, nevertheless lamented that Ume-Ezeoke departed at a time he was most needed by the country.
“It is with a heavy heart that I write to convey my condolences to you at this time of grieve. We all mourn the departure of a legislative icon and a political leader whose experience would have further helped in nurturing our democracy at these trying times” Wabara said in his message.
