The teachers, staff and management of Loral International Schools have been commended for their efforts and consistence in the quality of knowledge they impact on their students.

Speaking during the valedictory/Prize-Giving ceremony held in Festac campus of the school recently, the guest speaker at the event, Mrs Amaka Ezekwere described Loral Schools as a shining example to other schools in terms of what an ideal private school should be.

According to her, this could be seen from the quality of students the institution has produced since inception and who are doing well in their various areas of endeavour.

She stated that primary and post primary education is where the foundation for solid education is laid, stressing that when schools are built on a shaky foundation, it affects the academic growth and development of children.

I am happy that Loral is built on a solid foundation. That is why students who passed through this school are doing well. I know some of them who are Medical Doctors, Lawyers, and so on, and they are doing very well in their chosen careers.

Mrs Ezekwere who spoke on the “Benefit of Smiles” disclosed that smiling is a great way to make oneself stand out while helping his/her body to function better. “smiling makes us attractive and helps us stay positive. We are drawn to people who smile. Frowns, scowls and grimaces all push people away but a smile draws them in.

Meanwhile, the Parents Teachers’ Association, PTA, of the school, Igbesa Campus, used the graduation ceremony to present a brand new 16-seater Toyota Hiace bus to the students, as part of their contributions to promote academic excellence in the school.
