It was three days of action as the Gulder F-A-side train landed in the South-South zone, with  Port Harcourt hosting no fewer than 400 battling for the two tickets to play in the national finals holding in Lagos.

The action packed encounter saw teams from Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers playing in the front of an enlivened crowd at the practice pitch of the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A resident of Port Harcourt, Ifeanyi Aniche, commended Nigerian Breweries Plc for sponsoring the event.
He added that it was a good platform to engage the youth in the country most especially the youths in the restive regions.

He was of the opinion that such football competition with such a whooping financial reward would be mind-engaging whiles the N8 million ultimate prize can create a financial empowerment for the overall winning teams.
