KIDDIES’ Kingdom Private School (KKPS), one of the leading private primary schools, situated at Aviation Estate, on the Murtal Muhammed International Airport Road, Lagos penultimate week won the coveted prize on the Jet Day Competition organized to enhance the pupils’ interest in learning science and increase their mental abilities on the world of science.

With the theme “The Inventor”, the five pupils presented by KKPS, namely Victor Ugochukwu, Ayomide Shodunke, Afeez Omoshowon, Kuwam DIsu and Charles Ogbebe, came top among the many schools that participated in Jet Day event hosted by Krystal-Bal School, Lagos.

They won the first prize in exhibition and experiment and were runner-up in the quiz segment of the competition.

An elated Head teacher of KKPS, Mrs. Felicia E. Iwuchukwu said her pupils have always made her proud in any academic outing in the recent past. “So I was not surprise when they came back with the first prize in the exhibition and experiment category. And of course we cherish the prizes they have also won to the school”, she says.

The Basic six teacher who accompanied them to the competition, Ms Ijeoma Obiasogu could only sum up the experience as being “tough but thank God we won”.

The Jet Day competition had 5 pupils with a teacher representing each of the invited schools while the judges were chosen from amongst the teachers.
