WARRI – POLICE authority in Warri, Delta State, have arrested a gang of three suspected kidnappers at a forest between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijaw in Udu and Warri South-West local government areas of the state.
One of the kidnappers was shot and wounded while attempting to escape when the special squad led by Boro Opudu, Chairman of the state anti-kidnapping security committee set up by the state government, stormed their hide-out.
The kidnappers were said to be behind last Sunday’s abduction of Mrs Dora Edijala, a senior staff of Pipeline and Product Marketing Company, PPMC, and her friend, Miss Mabel Edah, along Refinery Road, Effurun, Delta State.
