The Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria, (ISPON) has endorsed Samsung Solar-Powered Netebook as a strategic instrument for developing the Nigerian knowledge economy.

The Managing Director of Connect Technologies Limited Mr. Yinka Tanimowo,who represented the ISPON President, Chris Uwaje told the gathering that Samsung has the state-of-the-technology equipment to support the Nigerian consumers.
The Oracle of the Nigerian IT industry who is passionate about capacity build noted that the new product would go a long way in assisting to resolve part of Nigeria’s energy problem.
While commending Samsung laudable ICT activities in Nigeria and in particular, for presenting to humanity, the first global Solar -Powered WERED Notebook, he said that the introduction of the product was a remarkable feat, which translates to solutions-focused, noteworthy and strategic investment to ICT Research and Development
“I therefore wish to congratulate Samsung Nigeria for promoting the concept of knowledge society and sharing the concept and solution of a Solar-powered Notebook with the Nigerian ICT Community.
