LAGOS — Worried by the high rate of accidents on roads in the state, the Lagos State Government has commenced training for commercial bus drivers with a pilot scheme scheduled for Lekki-Epe corridor. The training is aimed at reducing carnages and ensuring road discipline.

The state government through the state Drivers’ Institute, LASDRI commenced a two-day training at its Epe centre for the first batch, comprising 50 commercial bus drivers operating in the Lekki-Epe area.

The training is organised in collaboration with the Lekki Concession Company LCC, the concessionaire of the Eti-Osa- Epe Expressway project.
