LAGOS – The four mobile policemen arrested for allegedly robbing several banks, including one in Owutu area of Ikorodu, Lagos State, will today know their fate, says Police High command.

This came, as detectives at the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Lagos State Command, investigating the culpability of the four mobile policemen, have discovered a hideout in Shomolu area of Lagos, where the policemen allegedly converged before embarking on their distasteful operations.

There were indications that the policemen might be taken to Abuja for a one-on-one interview with the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Hafiz Ringim, who was said to have expressed disappointment over the incident.

The hideout of the cops, it was gathered, belonged to one of them. Sources said the detectives stormed the hideout, a two-room apartment, where some exhibits were recovered.
