Port Harcourt – Mr. David Iyofor has been apppointed Chief Press, Secretary to Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State.

A statement from the governor’s former Acting Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Blessing Wekina said the appointment is with immediate effect.

According to the statement,  Henry Halliday was also appointed  Chief of Protocol, COP.

“Rivers State Governor, Mr. Chibuike Amaechi has approved the appointment of Mr.  Iyofor as the new Chief Press Secretary, CPS,Mr. Iyofor takes over from Mr. Blessing Wikina.The Governor also approved the appointment of Henry Halliday as the COP, to the Governor. He replaces Mr. Kue Ikoro,” the statement said.
