D Dollar arrives with new juju flavour

King Sunny Ade may soon be forced to abdicate his throne as Juju music King if the words of new entrant Jethro Abejoye aka D dollar is to be taken seriously.

Seriously speaking the young man has been whipping up cyclones of excitement in juju music circles within Lagos and beyond.

Recently, he informed Showtime that his album titled Glamour is set to drop in the next few months.

The album recorded at the Music Matric studios is coming from the stables of Oceania Entertainment with three hit tracks; Ere bere, Wedding day and Arrival already released as singles and presently rocking the airwaves.

The Ondo State born singer further disclosed to Showtime that already, a South African based video film making company Angle productions is booked to fly into the country in a couple of weeks to commence shooting of the Wedding day and Ere bere track videos.

Jethro who is prominent member of the association of Juju musicians Nigeria AJUMAN says he grew up watching Afro Juju king Sir Shina Peters perform and immediately fell in love with Afro juju music.
