ENUGU – NO fewer than 177 indigenes of Enugu State who fled Maiduguri, Borno State, returned home Tuesday night with tales of horror in the Boko Haram enclave.

The returnees arrived the terminal of  Enugu State Transport Company, ENTRACO, in three luxury buses provided on the orders of Governor Sullivan Chime.

They thanked Chime for his quick response to their distress call, saying his intervention had saved them from further anguish and fear of the unknown.

Spokesman of the group/ President of Enugu State Union in Maiduguri, Mr. Paul Igwesi, said they made the call to the governor when non-indigenes became targets of attacks.
