LAGOS— Newspa per Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, NPAN, will tomorrow, hold a town hall meeting on ‘For the Public Purpose: Deepening the FoI Act,’ at Muson Centre, Lagos.

Prof. Wole Soyinka and Ms Suzanne Lagault, Canadian Information Commissioner, will grace the meeting, under the chairmanship of Mr Sam Amuka, Publisher of Vanguard Newspapers and Mallam Ismaila Isa, Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ.

Discussants at the meeting are Mr Mohammed Adoke, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice; Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State;  Governor Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State; Mrs Ayo Obe, Dr Chidi Odinkalu, African Director, Open Society Initiative and Mr Tayo Oyetibo, while the discussion will be moderated by Mr Gbenga Adefaye, Editor-in-Chief, Vanguard Newspapers.
