Taking a team to Nigeria to play Enyimba is like “going into a den of lions”, according to Al Hilal coach Milutin “Micho” Sredrojevic.
That is the challenge which the Sudanese giants face in their opening game of the African Champions League group stage on Sunday.

Micho says he knows his team will face a “hostile” atmosphere but is confident of getting something from the game.
“If I don’t believe…it would be better not to travel,” he told the BBC.

“We know we are playing against a team which will have a huge advantage of the home crowd – but we will use all possible means to expose weak points of their team and to try to get a good result,” the coach said.

“Mathematics is very simple in any group of the Champions League – you need to win all your home matches and from the road look for three or more points.

“In 16 home matches they didn’t concede even one goal in the Nigerian Premier League,” he said.

“This is very tough team to play – a team which has an iron defence, a creative midfield and a sharp attack. We are going to play very tactically because I have followed Enyimba for a long time and I know everything about them.”
