The International Real Estate Federation, FIABCI, Nigerian Chapter, will tomorrow, hold a one-day seminar on “property taxation in Nigeria” at the Golden Gate Restaurant, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The event which will be chaired by the President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Mr. John Jegede, will be addressed by the Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue, and a front line estate surveyor and valuer, Mr. Chudi Ubosi.

A statement by FIABCI’s secretary-general, Mr Joseph Akhigbe explained that issues relating to the different types of property tax such as the land use charge, probate tax, withholding tax, consent fees, stamp duties and registration fees will be exhaustively discussed.
