The launching and investiture of patrons of Ogwashi-Uku professionals, holds today Saturday 9th July at Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja Lagos.

In a statement by the Public Relation Officer of the association Mr. Val Otiono members of the association resident in Lagos are enjoined to attend the event promptly as some prominent indigenes of the town who have excelled in different fields of human endeavour will be honoured.

Such individuals include; Ambassador Ralph Uwechue, President Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, renowned computer guru and President Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria, Dr. Chris Uwaje, Chief George Uwechue (SAN) President body of Benchers, Prof Ogwude, Former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, (FUTO) Owerri, and Prof Isiekwe accomplished Dental Surgeon at the University of Lagos(UNILAG).

The highlight of the day would be the performance of a select group of cultural dancers and entertainers.
