By Solomon Nwke
EDO State female weightlifter in the +75kg, Joy Omokhuale said that gold medal has become a propelling force for her to have a berth at next Olympics in London.

Bristling from euphoria of her three gold medas in her weight category, Omokhuale, boasted that her next target was to showcase herself at the international scene.

“I’m excited by this performance. I hope to take it to the continental and the international levels,’ she said even as she looks forward to more competition in the country.

Nigeria is  blessed with talents but the problem is lack of competitions. With the right international exposure Nigeria lifters can hold their own against any opponent and for us to achieve that we need the support of the corporate bodies too,’ she said.
