The Federal Government has been urged to go beyond the Amnesty program in the Niger-Delta to address the constitutional, political, and other juridical aspects of the conflict.

Dr. Austin Tam-George, a community relations expert and convener of the forthcoming seminar to address the agitation and warfare waged by militants and communities in the Niger-Delta stated this in a statement made available to Sweetcrude in Lagos.

The seminar which is organized by the School of Media and communications of the Pan African University is scheduled as a 3-day seminar aimed at bringing a way forward to the Niger-Delta debacle.

The statement reads in part that the School of Media and Communication (SMC) of the Pan-African University, Lagos, plans a 3-day seminar to address the agitation and warfare waged by militants and communities in the Niger Delta region.
