Kiraa TV: Home of indigenous entertainment

Kiraa TV, the home of indigenous entertainment located in the town of Ososa-Ijebu, was founded in 2019 and has since then launched a number of projects, e.g. short films, feature films and documentaries.

Kiraa TV is poised with the responsibility of promoting and showcasing the evergreen Nigerian culture and tradition to the world through movies and documentaries.

“We at KiraaTV are selective enough to choose our base at a place where theater in Nigeria was professionally birthed. Chief Hulbert Ogunde, a pioneer of the National troupe of Nigeria hailed from Ososa-Ijebu and built the popular Ogunde Museum in the town as well. We have chosen this environment in order to align ourselves with the originality that makes our brand unique”, the CEO, Franklin Oluwasegun Currie said.

He added, “The television is geographically located close to Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State (TASUED) in order to create an avenue of business and educational minds, which goes in line with our goals of working with young, talented and intelligent youths. Our Vision is to be the leading indigenous terrestrial television in Nigeria and in Africa at large.”
