The Hawks of Togo, Saturday, defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the final of the West African Football Union,(WAFU) Cup competition held at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
Togo won the game 3-2.
The Super Eagles came from behind and equalised after the Togolese were up by 2-0. A few minutes later, the Hawks sealed the game with a third goal, handing out Coach Samson Siasia’s first defeat as coach of the national team.
Nigeria defeated Ghana 2-1 Thursday, to reach the final of the second WAFU Cup competition .
Nigeria won the first edition of the tournament held last year.
