Fresh from winning this year’s edition of Nigerian Breweries Plc, sponsored musical talent hunt reality show, star quest, members of the BEAT band begin their rise to stardom as they square up to other top Nigerian musicians as star trek, a musical concert from the table of the Iganmu brewers begins.

The group joins the likes of Bank W, P-Square, Timaya, MI, J Martins Naeto C, Dunca Mighty, Dr Sis, Wande Coal and Ruggedman as the season nine of the 10 city town trek, kicks off on May 27.

This year’s star trek, which will hold from May 27 to June 25, will cover 10 towns; Abuja, Auchi, Asaba, Nnewi, Enugu, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Aba, Lagos and Ondo.

Asides P Square, Naeto C and Bank W, other artistes billed for the event are: D’ Banj, Faze, 9ice, Pheel, Obesere, Sound Sultan, Eldee, Mr. Raw, KAS, Yinka Best. The also includes Flavour, Jesse Jags, Durella, Mc Loph, 2 Shotz, Jaywon, Femi Adeyinka and Freewindz.

Past Star Quest winners such as KC Presh, Diamondz, Juke Box and The Pulse are also on parade for Star Quest 2011. Nigerians will also have the opportunity of watching The B.E.A.T; winners of the just-concluded 2011 Star Quest music talent hunt.
