Nigeria’s economy is expected to receive further boost with plan by Alpari Group, world leading internet broker and forex dealer, to deepen its presence in the country.
The group, whose average monthly turnover is well over $140 billion, has already positioned Nigeria as the hub of its sub Saharan African market with a huge monthly turnover. With offices in Lagos and Abuja, the company operating under Alpari Trading West Africa, has finalized arrangements to open more outlets in Port Harcourt and Kano, to be able to make its services easily available to all Nigerians.
Disclosing this to participants at an interactive forum in PortHarcourt , according to statement made available to Vanguard, a director of the company, Mr. Daniel Ademoh, noted that plans are on to have a presence in Port Harcourt to complement existing offices in Lagos and Abuja. The move, he noted, is to ensure that more Nigerians have access to the company’s services.
On market penetration and strategies to enlighten Nigerians on the unique opportunities in forex trading, he noted that a lot of people have been benefiting from free seminars on forex which the company has been offering at its offices nationwide.
Besides, he said newcomers are daily taken through several stages including demo and live accounts. Participation in the demo, according to him, will help the beginners to master the nuances and peculiarities of trading in the forex market.
Ademoh also disclosed that the company is making plans to open a standard school for forex trading in Nigeria, to bring forex education and awareness closer to the people because a lot of people lose money ignorantly under the context of forex trading. “In the nearest future, we are looking at creating more awareness and a standard school on forex in Nigeria”, he said.
Ademoh noted that the training aspect in forex is very important because the reason a lot of people lose money in forex is not that forex is actually bad, but because the education aspect is not there. The forum also affords the Alpari Group to launch a new product called the Percentage Allocation Management Module (PAMM) account into the forex market to afford traders and investors a convenient trading experience.
