LAGOS-Outgoing Lagos State Deputy Governor, Princess Adebisi Sosan, has broken her silence on not returning with Governor Babatunde Fashola, SAN, for a second term in office, saying “there is no regret.”

Meanwhile, the Coalition of Opposition Political Parties in Lagos, COPPL, yesterday,  urged Fashola of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, to ensure an all inclusive government in the next dispensation so as to embrace all the political parties in the interest of the state.

Sosan,  spoke at the annual ministerial press briefing at the Bagauda Kalto Press Centre, Alausa to mark the fourth anniversary of Fashola in office.

Sosan lost the bid to run with Fashola as his running-mate to former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, who was elected as the deputy governor in the state.

Sosan said she was grateful to God and ACN for giving her opportunity to serve as the deputy governor of the state under Fashola’s administration.

She said, “I can confidently say I have no regrets. But rather, I thank God and the ACN leadership for giving me opportunity to serve the people of the state in the first term of Fashola’s administration.

“I cannot thank God enough. Sincerely, I have no regrets of not being part of the second term of Fashola’s administration. I will remain a member of the party,” adding  that after May 29, hand-over, she will go back to her profession of teaching.
