The  spate of violence which trailed anticipated results of the last Saturday’s Presidential election  swept across most states of the north, Monday, with the country home of  Vice President Namadi Sambo burnt down in Zaria.

Meanwhile INEC Chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Goodluck Jonathan winner with a total vote of 22,495,187.
