There is a difference between…

There is a difference between integrity and competency. Jega has gotten the former but lacks the later. It was evident in the postponed Assembly election and the just concluded which had a highly flawed logistics owing to Jega s incompetency. However, it was  relatively free and fair due to voters resolve to make it succesful.

Infact the election in my section is…

Infact the election in my section is just nonsense . Where children of ten years and younger will come and they will let them vote . And they know it is against INEC rule. When shall we change?

The election was very peaceful in…

The election was very peaceful in my area. Choba, University of Portharcourt, Rivers state. Though, APGA and ACN party representatives came with their antics to disrupt an election they have foreseen to be at their detriment. The people stood firm to cast their votes. In all, it was successful.

Free and fair election

It is a free and fair election. Only the party agents and observers  were creating havoc, because, some of them don’t even know their right so u people should do something about it incase of next time. Thank u

The National Assembly election has come and gone

Speaking from the Republican city of Nembe in Bayelsa state of Nigeria. In the history of election in the BRAVE CITY STATE ( Nembe). It has never been succesful, organised and peaceful compared to today’s one(election.)
In unit 8 of ward 3 in Ancient city of Nembe, the election was free and fear. And at the end of day LP {WALTER FEGHABO}  dominates almost all the poling unit followed by PDP.

Futher more the campaign of 1 man 1 vote was also aknowledged by the electorates and the various partys’ agents.
Long live our King and people of the Ancient city of Nembe.

Barr.  Simon – Akwa Ibom

Elections held only in Southern Kaduna

In Kaduna, the northern part of Nigeria, the election into the N/Assembly held only in the southern part of Kaduna. To this effect, already constituted legislation says that, NYSC are to be PO’S, STUDENTS to be APO’S and FCE to be PC’S. But, in Kauru L.G.A, Kaduna today was a mess.

The INEC officials rejected students and recruited their fellow aspirants into both the PC’S, PO’S and even the APO’S.

Students shortlisted from ABU-ZARIA were sent back in the middle of the night. Please vanguard, try and find out whether they had election or not.

Armed men on rampage

Armed men…went about snatching ballot boxes from polling units along Jakpa road in Effurun, Uvwie local govt area of Delta state, thus rendering our votes useless.

 Mr Udo-Delta State

Ballot paper arrive late in Imo
In most parts of Imo state ballot materials and INEC officials arrived late,
keeping voters wondering if the election will hold at all

In Ezinihitte LGA, Ahiazu Mbaise and Aboh Mbaise LGA respectively materials got
to some units as late as 12.35 pm four hours behind the stipulated time.

In Udo/Obizi Ward where I voted election materials reached Obizi 12pm, Umuofo
Udo unit  12.23pm and Uhuala Udo 12.37pm respectively. Accreditation of voters
started by 1.20pm after the INEC officials took time to settle down and erect
their voting box. But security was tight as men of the police and other agencies
were on hand to maintain the peace.

The Traditional Ruler of the Udo Community Eze Mathew Ukeje and political
leaders in the town expressed dismay at the development and advised INEC EO for
the Local Governement to make proper arrangement for coming elections.

Elections are still going on as at the time of filling this report

Mr. Nwachukwu- Udo Mbaise Imo State

 Peaceful elections in Benin

In the history of election in Nigeria, this happens to be the only election that has be conducted so peacefully. I want to say that credibility is finally and gradually creeping into the electoral system in Nigeria. Am happy I participated and witnessed the election in Edo state today. Nigerians should all come out in mass in the presidential election to vote for their desired candidate and enjoy what election really is for the first in Nigeria. Long live Nigeria and its people.

Amend voting time

Pls.  kindly inform the authorities  to extent voting time based on the fact that accreditation did not start on time. In some places , voters were disfranchised by officers of  INEC  when they closed voting in Abuja .

Rose-Abuja

Abuja peaceful election

The National Assembly Elections in FHA Karu Phase II went on peacefully. If the events of today forms the template for future exercises, then there’s hope that this critical element of democratic process bodes well in Nigeria.

  Voter’s witness report

I voted @ WD09 011 (Uwheru, Ughelli North L. G. A. Delta State)!

Observations:
* Voters were patiently waiting as early as 08:10Hrs. (even the aged)!

* Accreditation started @ 11:13Hrs.

* No visible security personnel on ground. *One INEC/Corps member
‘official’ & an assistant on ground for accreditation.

*Numerous ‘Visibly Underaged’ voters noticed. My worry . . . with the
tensed environment noticed aroud the town, WILL THE VOTES count!?

DELSU Polling Unit (Arts Auditorium)
Election into the Senate NASS in Delta Central held at Art Auditorium, DELSU, Abraka in Ethiope East LGA) was peaceful but the turnout was not too impressive as the large chunk of registered voters who are students were disenfranchised as they were hurriedly sent home Unknown.

Goodday, the electn here was quite peaceful but there is issue of money inducement in our politics. The PDP distributed # to voters this morning, and they won in my polling unit.
Omobolaji, Unilorin.

This is to bring to the notice of INEC that despite the fact that we were on the queue, of 291 voters accredited to vote in Kofar Dabachi in Nassarawa A ward in Minna of Chanchaga local Gov’t ,the electoral officers and the Police Area Commander stopped the elections by 4.45pm and prevented 200 of the 291 people from voting.

It was a very sad moment in Owhrode(DELTA). A group of community boys working for the big party stormed all polling units tore all ballot papers and set them on fire because the voting was obviously not in their favour.
