AKURE-LABOUR Party in Ondo State yesterday alleged of a plan by the state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to plant arms and ammunition in the houses of chieftains of its party ahead of tomorrow’s rescheduled election.

Addressing newsmen, the state Chairman of the party, Dr Olaiya Oni said the plan of the PDP was linked to the LP by informants.

Dr Olaiya Oni said the sinister plan include the arrest of leaders of the party in the six local government councils making up the Southern Senatorial District.

He alleged that the immediate past governor, Dr Olusegun  Agagu had mapped out plans to rig again. According to him soldiers and police have been procured by leaders of the PDP in the State to rig the election.
