My life in danger, cries PDP defected lawmaker

IBADAN – A lawmaker representing Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo in the House of Representatives, Hon. Lanre Agoro who defected from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has alleged that  a key figure in the state was using security agents in the state to threaten his life.

The legislator who was speaking with newsmen called on all political stakeholders, security agents to save his life from danger.

According to him, his ordeal started when he decided to leave the PDP.

He claimed that  since then, the politician had allegedly been looking for one way or the other to rope him in to prevent him from participating in the National Assembly election slated for Saturday.

Narrating how he has been having a running battle with the security agencies in the state, he said at a rally they organised at Saki which coincided with the celebration of Ogun festival, the worshippers fired gun shots as their normal practice and they sold a dummy that the gunshots emanated from the rally.
