LAGOS – MRS Hajarat Adeola, wife of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr Fola Adeola, yesterday, enjoined women across the country to vote en masse for candidates contesting on the platform of the ACN during the general elections

She also stressed the need for women to make the right choice during the elections, saying it was imperative for them to “ensure our rightful place in the society and a better life for our daughters.”

She stated this, yesterday, while addressing women from the South-West zone of the party.
In her  remark, Mrs Adeola encouraged women to resist being relegated to the background, adding that they were at the receiving end when things go bad.

“Things are not working the way they ought to in Nigeria. When there is suffering, women suffer most, when there is poverty, women are the worst hit. It is time for us to stand up for our rights,” she added.
