Clark solicits votes for son, Ebikeme

Ijaw National Leader, Chief Edwin Clark,  has charged  the electorate  in Burutu  Local Government Area of  Delta State to vote for his son,  Mr. Ebikeme  Clark,  who is seeking to represent the Burutu  Federal  Constituency on   the platform of Democratic  Peoples Party, DPP, in the April polls.

Clark urged the people  to give his son the support they had given him, explaining that it would be very unfortunate if none of his children steps into his shoes and fails to identify with the people politically.

The Ijaw  leader, who addressed supporters at his country home Kiagbodo  Burutu council,  said that the people should look beyond party affiliation while casting their votes to President Goodluck Jonathan and his son Ebikeme in the April polls.

He explained his roles in the parallel  Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  primaries,  adding that Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan  and the Peter Nwaboshi led  (PDP)remained unacceptable to him.
