Sunshine Stars’ of Akure striker, Ibrahim Ajani declared that his teammates must have to work hard for a good result in the return leg of their CAF Confederation Cup if they hope to go far in the competition.

Ajani and Kayode Abiodun scored one each in Sunshine’s 2-0 win over visiting Tiko United of Cameroon last Sunday at the Gateway international stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.
But according to Ajani who is gunning for Nigeria Premier League top scorers’ award, that result will amount to nothing if the Cameroonians upturn the victory like they boasted as they departed for home.
“We will prepare better for the return leg and hopefully some of our players down with injuries will recover in time for the second leg.
“I know the clash in Cameroun will be tough, I know they will come up with all forms of tricks to frustrate us, try as they would, they cannot be able to upturn the table against us.
“Our intention is to go far in the competition and actually contest for the trophy, so Tiko cannot stop us.
“Like I said before the first leg encounter, I will still score in Cameroun but I do not know how many goals,” said Ajani.
