Uduaghan promises refinery, fertilizer plant in Ndokwa

DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has promised to build a fertilizer company and a refinery, both to be sited in Ndokwa area of the state.

The Governor, who disclosed this during his campaigning at Ugilli-Amai, Wednesday, said the proposed refinery will be established at Abam. He noted that when the refinery and fertilizer plant come on stream, they will employ over 300,000 workers.

According to him, “when we establish the fertilizer company, it will boost your income, as your people will work there and turn your lives around.”

He explained that the gas, flared in the area would eventually be converted into raw material for the fertilizer company.

He added that the fertilizer company would be located in Ndokwa land because the people are great farmers. He urged them to take advantage of the company to increase production and improve their living standard.

Uduaghan, enjoined the people of Ndokwa-West to vote for the Peoples Dempcratic Party, PDP in next month’s general elections, so that they will enjoy the good programmes of the party.
