AKURE – MEMBERS of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, MEND, in Ondo State, have threatened to disrupt the April polls in Ondo State if the Federal Government failed to recognise their leader, known as ‘Creek Lion’, from Furupagha, in the on-going dialogue with MEND.
This was contained in a statement by their spokesperson, Mr. Ebakormor Ayebi weekend.
They warned that, “if the leader of the ex-militants in the state, ‘creek lion’ was not recognised and carried along in the proposed dialogue with other leaders of MEND, they would not allow election to take place in the entire state in April.
