Heartland of Owerri FC will today lock horns with Sharks FC in Owerri, a home match that  will see the Owerri fans come out in mass to cheer their team, hoping they will win and move a step up on the log.

The team’s head of Protocol, Tonnex  Chukuw,  told Saturday Vanguard sports  that  winning in today’s match will  depend on the effort put up by the players as he is  hopeful his side will defeat their opponent  .

“The essence of a competition is to win, so we hope to host well and win by the grace of God. For the fact that we are hosting does not mean it is a must win, it all depends on our well the players are able to tackle their
opponent well. If we do not play well, we will not win but I believe with their current performance, they will win,” he said.
