Jonathan, Mimiko, mourn Mama Adesanya

ABUJA – President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday joined the family of late Chief Abraham Adesanya in mourning his wife and matriarch of the family, Chief (Mrs.) Rosanna Arinola Adesanya who passed away weekend.

This is contained in a statement by Mr Ima Niboro, Special Adviser to the President, Media & Publicity, President Jonathan conveys his heart felt condolences to her children and relatives.

As they mourn her passing away, he urged them to be comforted by the knowledge that the late Mrs. Adesanya lived a very fulfilled and accomplished life. He prayed that God Almighty would grant her soul eternal repose in Paradise.

Also, Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has commiserated with the family of the late leader of the Afenifere, the Pan Yoruba socio-cultural group, Pa Abraham Adesanya over the death of its matriarch, Madam Rosanna Adesanya, saying that by her demise, another vacuum has been created in the rank and file of the Yourba race.

Dr Mimiko in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kolawole Olabisi, noted with regret the demise of a woman who stood by her husband during his numerous brushes with the government of the day in his desire for the total emancipation of the nation from the shackles of the oppressors.
