Eagles can beat Ethiopia but – Fuludu

BY KATE OBODO

As the Super Eagles  continue their preparation for the African Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on March 27 in Abuja, former player Edema Fuludu is confident the team  will triumph  but was quick to add that the team need extra effort to succeed.

In a chat with Sunday Vanguard sports,  the former Bendel Insurance player said with the level that  Samson Siasia has  attained in a bid to  build the team,  the Ethiopians  would not pose  a problem for them.

He however,  advised Siasia to work on every angle in the team especially on the aspect of tactical discipline.  “Our game against Ethiopia is one of sure victory, but how we are going to do it is what I can not say. If we have the caliber of players that can do the trick especially the kind that made us proud in the last match against Sierra Leone, we should have no course to fear .

“I remember in the game against  Sierra Leone,  I said we are building a quality team because of the demand for it but in all there is still room for improvement. Ethiopia is not a power house in football, only that we must put our act togther if we must over come,” he said.
