Former Super Eagles’ defender Taribo West , has been tipped to head the Nigeria Football Federation, newly created scouting committee, which is expected to be approved by the Aminu Maigari-led executive committee at a meeting Friday.
A source close to a member of the NFF Technical Committee hinted that the scouting committee, which would assist the technical committee is expected to include other ex-internationals such as Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, as well as Rashidi Yekini as members.
The source said the new committee will help in combing the entire Nigeria Premier and Professional league matches to scout for players that would be recommended to the Technical Committee for invitations to the various national teams.
