OSOGBO – Osun State Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has alleged of the plan by the state Peoples Democratic Party PDP to foment trouble during the presidential rally of President Goodluck Jonathan scheduled to hold in Osogbo, the state capital tomorrow.

In a petition forwarded to the Commissioner of Police and the Director of State Security Services, SSS signed on behalf of the party by its Director of Research and Strategy, Hon Sunday Akere,  the party said it has got wind of a grand design by some evil minded and mischief makers within the state PDP to kit thugs and miscreants in ACN vests and order them to attack the convoy of the President, reminiscent of the ‘Nasarawa debacle’ in their rabid bid to implicate the ACN.

The petition reads in part “Already, information has it that vest bearing the logo and insignia of our party are been produced in large quantity to be given out to thugs and miscreants who will throw stones and attack the President’s convoy creating a false impression that it was done by members of our party ACN.
