Ndigbo to mobilise support for ACN in Lagos

LAGOS State Commissioner for Finance and Budget Planning, Mr. Ben Akabueze, has constituted a 15-man committee,  headed by Chief Christian  Nwachukwu, to mobilize support amongst Ndigbo in Lagos State and organise rally in support of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, come March 17 in Lagos.

Reacting to his nomination, Chief Nwachukwu Onyendu, Ndigbo Lagos, and representative of  South-East council of Traditional rulers, vowed to go to every nook and crannies of Lagos State to mobilise Igbo to vote en masse for  Action Congress of Nigeria because the party had been delivering dividends of democracy to every Lagosians, including Ndigbo.

His words: “By the constitution of this committee, it has shown that the ACN in Lagos State has the interest of Ndigbo at heart and my nomination to chair this committee clearly demonstrates the seriousness of the party to ensure that Ndigbo in Lagos State are carried along in the programmes and policies of ACN.”

Continuing, he assumed the Lagos Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Ben Akabueze that he will not be disappointed by Ndigbo, saying that, “we started mobilizing market women, trade and village unions, Igbo cultural and professional groups to ensure that the March 17 rally will be a resounding success,”adding that, “I will ensure that Ndigbo in Lagos State vote massively for the ACN.”
