Coach of Kaduna United FC, Maurice Cooreman has stated that his team’s three goals feat against Gombe United FC will propel them to a continental win in three weeks time at home.

Cooreman, a former Ocean Boys and Lobi Stars FC gaffer stressed that the team will come out of Minna against Niger Tornadoes FC in this weekend Nigerian Premier League tie with a good result.

“I feel very elated because for the first time last Sunday, we won and scored three goals, which means we are in a good state of preparedness for our Confederations Cup game.

“Everybody knows that in the continent when you are playing at home, you most try to win your game with at least three or four goals in order to get your sight on the next stage secured. I am very happy that we played a good game against Gombe United and I am optimistic that we will replicate it in our Confederations Cup tie in three weeks time.

“We play a very offensive football, the players have improved over the games played and those that were invited to the Home Based Eagles have polished their goal techniques. These I believe have made the team livelier in attack.

For their weekend game against Niger Tornadoes, the former Enyimba tactician said “it is very difficult to play Tornadoes in Minna as they are solid at home.
