Hollajosha and Rave Studio

The latest wedlock in the  music industry is between Hollajosh and Rave Studio. Hollajosh is a gifted musician and creative music producer while Rave Studio is the umbrella organization for Rave music and other entertainment outfits. With the rapidity of bush fire in harmatan, a new baby was born from the wedlock just last week. The new baby is known as MOSORIRE, a nine track Album.

Mike Efunkoya, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rave Studio is extremely excited about the album. His words, “honestly I am excited about Hollajosh and MOSORIRE. The mother and child are just fantastic. You know it takes time to complete processes for marriage and childbirth. In the case of Hollajosh, the marriage with Rave studio was spontaneous.

Once the work of art drew our appreciation at Rave studio we got hooked to the artist instantly and in less than three months, MOSORIRE was delivered, just like that. I tell you the sweet music MOSORIRE, the new baby is going to go places. It takes a year or thereabout for a new baby to walk but we are sure that MOSORIRE will walk in three months. At about six months we expect the baby to start flying around the country and within one year everyone around our continent will hear about this new release”

Why is he so optimistic?  “Well we at Rave Studio have a lot of experience in this business. I have been doing this for over twenty five years. For example, I produced “On the match,” Hope 93 campaign song for late Basorun M.K.O Abiola. And my colleagues are also well qualified and experienced. So as a team when we say a work of art is good, honestly it is good. So we are confident that Hollajosh and MOSORIRE will go places”.

The strength of the music is that it is useful for entertainment and social mobilization especially of youths. The message of the music is that youths should believe in themselves. They should embrace hardwork and aim high. It also preaches love of one’s neighbors. MOSORIRE advocates unity in the community, in various social religious and even political settings.

Listening to the preview, the reporter gets the impression that the music was consciously prepared to address the season of anomie which our youths are passing through. In these days of unemployment, alcoholism, cultism and campus violence the youths need a message to revitalize their spirit. That is exactly what MOSORIRE has done. It is a message of hope for the youths to believe in a better future.
