We’re not after Gbemi Saraki – Kwara PDP

The PDP in Kwara State says it has nothing to do with the allegation by Senator Gbemisola Saraki, the gubernatorial candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), that members of PDP plan to circulate posters containing a nude picture of her.

Reacting to the allegation, the Kwara PDP said; “there is no single iota of truth in the wild allegation and as such, the publication should be disregarded by the general public.

“The ACPN should be reminded that the PDP-led government in the past seven and half years has been concerned with providing good governance to the people of the State as promised and would not be bothered by such a trivial issue such as posters,” it said adding, “PDP leadership in the state view this allegation as the cry of drowning politicians seeking sympathy at all cost.

ACPN should instead concentrate on selling its programmes and policies to the people rather than chasing shadow. Kwarans are now wiser as the era of deceit is gone for good.”
