Bank PHB rewards loyal customers

As part of Nigeria’s 50th anniversary, Bank PHB Plc has rewarded its loyal customers in the “Save for the Season Promotion” which started October 2010 to February 2011.

The Divisional Head Retail and Consumer Banking, Mr. Olu Akanmu who spoke at the event of the draw said the promotion is in line with the country’s 50th  independent celebration, disclosing that this is the reason why every customer who wants to qualify for the draw must  maintain a minimum balance of N50, 000 every 50days within the promo period.

Akanmu said  “This draw shows confidence, the strength of our franchise remain strong, anywhere you go you see customers moving in and out of the bank. It can not be better than what we are seeing.”

He added that the promo is part of the banks strategy at encouraging saving culture in its customers to save so as to help them accumulate a sufficient amount which can be used for other better investment.

Continued he explained that the draw is holding at other region of the bank, in Kaduna Enugu and Abuja noting that it has always been  successful especially with the kind of crowd present in the Lagos zone for the draw, with this he noted that shows the measures support of a vote of confidence of the bank’s customers.

According to him, the promotion qualifies customers with an increased saving s account balance of  N50,000 every 50 days which enhances their chance of winning a price in the promo and potential savings account customers who are willing to participate.

However, he opened that  8,000 savings account holders qualified for the draw, noting that three 32″ Inch Samsung LCD TV were to be given out, two DVD Players and a Micro wave Oven and other numerous gift to winners.

However, three persons present at the draw won three LCD TV in the raffle draw, with Mr. Samuel Uwadiogbu emerging the first winners, Ibrahim Samsudeen also won a Tv while Miss Egede Nancy won a DVD Player .

In the electronic draw, Olunase Abel Olugbenga won a 32″ Inch LCD TV, Rilwan Rasana Iliya a DVD Player, among others.

Executive Director Mrs Mayoba Joseph added that the promo was designed to reward customers who stood by the bank at the time of trouble, urging customers to inform people about draw so as to increase the bank’s and its deposit strength.

Joseph appreciated the effort of customers who participated in the promo promising them a better year ahead, encouraging those who did not qualify to try hard in the next promo which will commence by March.

A representative from the Consumers proction Council (CPC) Mr. Anyawu Camills also disclosed that the bank has meet all its requirement for the promo, advising customers whop feels they were not well treated to feel free to come to the council and lay their compalin for redress.
