Special Adviser to Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State on Political and Legislative Affairs, Ntufam Edet Asim has told opposition political parties in the state to wait till 2015 as there was no vacancy in the state Government House for now.

This came on the heels of the pronouncement by Governor Imoke that it was only the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state that conducted party primaries in compliance with the stipulations of the Electoral Act.

Speaking at  a reception to welcome Governor Imoke, who was handed the PDP flag as the governorship candidate in Port Harcourt, Rivers States, weekend,  Asim described Imoke as a complete gentleman, who  has fulfilled his campaign promises.

He noted that the government has carried every indigene of the state along and if given the mandate for a second tenure, he will complete the transformation process he  started and called on the people to work together towards ensuring the success of the Governor, who he called a ‘the man of the people.
