IBADAN—Telecommunication giants, MTN has expressed concerns over continued vandalism of its communication gadgets across the country. This came as it lost two of its staff to vandals who vandalised its underground cables in some parts of the country.
This hint was dropped by Mr. Jude Nnabuife, Regional Sales Manager, SW, MTN, at the regional launch of MTN’s True Value Preposition in Ibadan. He said, as a result, the organisation had taken steps to curb the activities of the vandals by improving on its security facilities.
Mr. Nnabuife said MTN had the largest subscriber base in Nigeria with over 38 million people, adding that with quality service, the telecommunication industry possessed the widest coverage in Nigeria and stronger business and family ties.
With the attractive innovative range of products and services, he said MTN remained the only network that connects to the largest community of mobile phone users across Africa and the Middle East.
